Alexis G. Miller
Chief Financial Officer
Alexis Miller is the Chief Financial Officer of Guzman & Company. As CFO, Ms. Miller oversees all financial operations, including financial reporting and transparency, treasury analysis, investor relations and long-term financial strategy and planning.
Ms. Miller joined the firm in 2007 as Chief Operating Officer and her responsibilities included assisting the CEO with creating and executing strategic initiatives, as well as directing the firm’s research efforts.
Prior to joining Guzman and Company, Ms. Miller was a Market Intelligence Analyst at Legg Mason Capital Management in Baltimore. Her responsibilities included compiling and relaying the latest news and research on the group’s holdings and global financial markets.
Prior to entering the financial industry, Ms. Miller served as a Lieutenant in the US Navy and deployed to the Middle East during Operation Enduring Freedom. She served aboard the USS Carney (DDG 64) as the Strike Weapons Officer, responsible for the ship’s employment of the Tomahawk cruise missile.
Ms. Miller obtained her B.S. in Economics from the United States Naval Academy and her M.S. in Finance from Johns Hopkins University. She is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) and is currently a Level III candidate pursuing the Charted Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
Ms. Miller holds FINRA Series 7, 24, and 27 licenses.
