Ruslan Magdeev | Managing Director, Head of Investment Banking and Capital Markets

Ruslan Magdeev serves as Head of Investment Banking for Guzman & Company and is responsible for directing the Investment Banking & Capital Markets group. Mr. Magdeev has significant experience in the financial services industry, including investment banking and capital markets, investment management, and energy trading.

Prior to joining Guzman & Company, Mr. Magdeev served as Principal and Managing Partner at NEIF Group, a resources and energy focused investment and research platform. From 2008 to 2012, he was a member of Morgan Stanley’s investment banking and capital markets team, where he was involved in origination, structuring, and execution of more than $10 billion of various capital market transactions. From 2002 to 2007 he served as regional manager at Nukem, Inc. a global leader in nuclear fuel trading.

Mr. Magdeev holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and MPA from Old Dominion University where he was a Muskie scholar.
